The recommended dose for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age is one tablet twice a day, taken whole with a full glass of water. Treatment should continue for as short a time as possible and should stop when symptoms, chiefly the congestion (blocked nose), have disappeared. Please note that this medicine should not be taken if you are allergic to desloratadine, pseudoephedrine, or any of the other ingredients in this medicine. Also, it should not be taken if you have a systemic fungal infection. Remember, it’s always important to follow your healthcare provider’s instructions when using this medication.
